Jazlyne Pratt-Lambert is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. After studying psychology at SUNY Plattsburgh, she received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Trauma-Informed Care from Syracuse University.
Jazlyne believes creating a strong therapeutic bond and meeting individuals where they are is essential in therapy. Her therapeutic approach places emphasis on collaboration, safety, trust and empowerment while exploring difficult emotions and working to strengthen relationships. Jazlyne also believes past experiences impact current wellbeing and relationships and works to help clients identify and explore how the past becomes present.
Jazlyne has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her primary modalities of therapy are Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Experiential Therapy. Jazlyne incorporates Trauma-Informed Practice in all of her work. She is training under Awakenings in Sex Therapy for both couples and individuals. Additionally, she has completed over 60 hours of intensive training in attachment-based couple’s therapy called Emotionally Focused Therapy (Externship and Core Skills.)
Fun Facts: Jazlyne is from Northern New York, but spent part of her childhood in North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, reading memoirs, and spending time with her animals.
