Tracy Russell is a Clinical Manager and Outpatient Therapist based in our Raleigh office. She is a University of Chapel Hill alumna, and earned her Master of Social Work degree in the Joint MSW Program at UNCG and NC A&T. Since graduating, Tracy has become certified in Perinatal Mental Health and is on track to finish certification in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, including completing both Externship and Core Skills for over 60 hours of direct training in this evidence-based practice.
After years of practice and growing her own family, Tracy found a passion for Maternal and Parental Mental Health. She knows that the complicated path to building a family can be both joyful and painful. Navigating the highs and lows can take a toll on an individual and a relationship. Whether you’re trying to conceive, struggling through pregnancy, or adjusting to life after bringing kids into your home, Tracy provides an open space to process, understand, and reconnect with yourself and your partner. Tracy’s approach to therapy brings together an attitude of non-judgment, a base of relatable experience, and evidence-based practice to support her clients during a phase of life that is never easy, but doesn’t have to be quite so hard and lonely.
