Kris McGee is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Appalachian State University.
Kris uses emotionally focused therapy, as well as person centered and behavioral strategies to help her clients reach their goals. Kris has experience working with families and individual adults and teens struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma related issues and is also passionate about working with couples and alternative relationship styles. She strives to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where her clients can feel heard and supported. She is interested in working with clients on issues related to body image and self-esteem, and with clients who are polyamorous, non-monogamous, and/or members of the kink community.
Kris is offering sex therapy for individuals and couples. She is LGBTQIA affirming and sex and body positive. She has the goal of becoming an AASECT certified sex therapist.
In her free time, Kris enjoys reading, watching scary movies, and spending time in nature.
Kris currently practices in-person at our Raleigh location, and online for clients anywhere in NC.
