Aleigha Johnson is currently enrolled in North Carolina A&T State University’s Clinical Counseling pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice from NCAT. Aleigha is under the supervision of one of our fully licensed therapists and provides lower cost counseling services.
Aleigha approaches counseling from a person-centered perspective. She recognizes the uniqueness of each client and recognize the potential of every client with empathy and compassion. Aleigha considers the client to be the expert of their own lives and serve as a supportive guide to the client. Aleigha has a special interest in working with individuals, couples, and families, struggling with life changes, anxiety, adjustment, and trauma. As an African American, Aleigha recognizes the importance of representation in counseling and has an interest in working with minorities and people of color.
In her free time, Aleigha enjoys spending time with her friends and family, painting, reading mystery novels, and traveling.
