Amber Phillips is an Associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Amber graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Throughout her therapeutic career, Amber has served a diverse clientele and approaches treatment by using a solution-focused and strengths-based approach. Through this experience, she has grown proficient in assisting those who have established a dependency on substances and is passionate about enhancing relationships, resolving disputes within relationships, and increasing the quality of life in the household. Amber is currently being trained in both Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and sex therapy.
She is offering both individual therapy services and couples therapy. Amber has a humanistic perspective and recognizes that each individual is unique, which contributes to their distinct challenges. Amber is a firm believer that healing occurs in a setting that is secure, empowering, and free from criticism. She places emphasis on upholding an approachable atmosphere and creating a setting where you find yourself at ease processing difficult thoughts or feelings.
Fun facts: Amber was born and raised in North Carolina and still manages to get lost anywhere in NC, even with her GPS. She enjoys taking long nature walks, spending time with her furry friends, and engaging in arts & crafts.
