Asia Boyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who matriculated from Fayetteville State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work.
Asia has been passionate about social work since her childhood. This passionate dedication and pursuit of knowledge led to Asia accumulating over 14 years of experience in mental and behavioral health over the course of her career.
While assisting individuals in an outpatient setting, Asia discovered her true passion of serving couples as well as individuals especially the LGBTQIA+ population. Asia’s work is theory-driven, she uses: Emotionally-Focused Therapy (in training), Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Asia has found great success in helping couples navigate both their relationships and life transitions. Asia thrives to empower her clients through mindfulness, self-love and personal fulfillment to enhance intimate connections and strengthen relationships.
Previously, Asia has also worked in a managerial capacity while serving as a Director of Social Work in an ICF/IID facility ensuring access to care and inclusivity to individuals with developmental delays. She also served as a Team Lead in a non-profit organization ensuring continuity of care, access to resources to promote self-sufficiency to individuals with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses.
Outside of work, Asia enjoys long road trips, reading, practicing self-care and spending time with family. Asia also has a great sense of humor and an extensive collection of high heel shoes.
