Couples, Sex, and Family Therapist
At her core, Ebony Hayes is passionate about helping people create and sustain deep, meaningful connections. As a licensed clinical social work associate, she brings over six years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families in strengthening their emotional bonds, improving communication, and navigating the complexities of relationships. But for Ebony, therapy isn’t just about problem-solving—it’s about fostering security, closeness, and understanding in ways that transform lives.
A proud graduate of Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, Ebony earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work before diving into hands-on experience across outpatient clinics, schools, residential treatment settings, and family-centered therapy. She specializes in sex therapy, family systems work, and attachment-focused approaches, blending these areas to help clients reconnect emotionally, deepen intimacy, and heal relationship wounds with curiosity and compassion.
At the heart of Ebony’s work is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—a research-backed approach that helps couples and families strengthen their attachment bonds and create lasting emotional security. Currently pursuing advanced EFT training, Ebony integrates its principles to help clients move beyond cycles of conflict and disconnection, guiding them toward greater trust, understanding, and closeness. Whether she’s working with partners struggling to communicate, couples healing from betrayal, or individuals feeling emotionally stuck, her focus is on building the kind of connection that feels safe, fulfilling, and lasting.
Ebony’s therapeutic style is warm, direct, and collaborative. She believes in meeting her clients where they are, honoring their experiences, and helping them uncover their own strengths. Using a mix of EFT, attachment science, and practical tools for emotional regulation and communication, she supports her clients in navigating relationship challenges with confidence. Her work isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about real, meaningful change that brings people closer together in ways they never thought possible.
For Ebony, therapy is more than just a profession—it’s a calling. She creates a space where vulnerability is welcomed, tough conversations feel safer, and healing can truly begin. Whether working with couples, families, or individuals, she is committed to helping her clients build the relationships they long for—ones rooted in security, trust, and deep emotional connection.
