Samantha Zengbean is an enthusiastic graduate student pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
Born with a natural inclination towards understanding and supporting others, Samantha embarked on her academic journey to explore the depths of mental health and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities.
Driven by a desire to be a positive force in her community, Samantha sees herself as a vessel advocating for the benefits of mental health care in living a healthy and wholesome life. Samantha sees herself as the bridge to break down stereotypes and promote understanding, emphasizing that seeking mental health support is a strength, not a weakness.
Samantha’s academic pursuits reflect her commitment to providing inclusive and effective counseling. She is particularly interested in modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Recognizing the unique needs of diverse populations, especially in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community, Samantha seeks to tailor her approach to ensure culturally sensitive and empowering mental health support.
One of Samantha’s distinctive qualities is her eagerness to serve. With a heart of a servant, she is dedicated to being of service to individuals of all ages, genders, and populations. Her vision extends beyond conventional boundaries, as she aspires to make a meaningful impact on the mental health and well-being of everyone she encounters. Samantha provides non-judgmental counseling. As Samantha continues her academic journey at Liberty University, she is not just accumulating knowledge but actively preparing herself to be a compassionate and competent mental health professional. With a foundation in Christian principles, a passion for destigmatizing mental health, and a commitment to inclusive and effective counseling modalities, Samantha is poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of those she serves.
