Kelci Schaeffer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. Kelci believes in taking a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, while placing emphasis on examining how emotions, attachment, interactional patterns, and social structures influence her clients’ lived experiences. Her primary modalities of therapy are Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
Kelci has experience working with couples, individuals, and families. She has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She also has experience with the military community and feels passionately about providing service members and their families with quality therapy that takes into account their unique needs. Kelci enjoys working with LGBTQAI folx.
Kelci offers sex therapy for both couples and individuals. Additionally, she has completed over 60 hours of intensive training in attachment-based couple’s therapy called Emotionally Focused Therapy (Externship and Core Skills.)
Kelci is from Washington State, where she completed her education. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning about space, and spending time with her friends, husband, and three dogs.
