Mary Dodge is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in North Carolina. She graduated with her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern Mississippi and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of North Carolina.
Mary works to understand the unique perspectives of couples and individuals. She collaborates with clients to meaningfully shift cycles they feel stuck in. Mary is interested in working with all couples and partnerships, particularly remarriages. She often uses Emotionally Focused Therapy to help people identify and express their own needs and worries, as well as listen to and understand the needs and worries of others. Beyond completing Externship training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mary has also completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She is also a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, which can be used for couples preparing to get married, strengthening existing marriages, and those navigating parenting.
Outside of therapy, Mary enjoys going to art museums, reading new books, and doing puzzles with her husband.
Mary currently practices in-person at our Raleigh location, and online for clients anywhere in NC.
