Jennifer Becker is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor. In 2010 she received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specializes in working with individuals and couples counseling.
Based on Jennifer’s years of experience, she recognizes that “one-size” does not fit all and has developed the ability to use a variety of approaches. Jennifer has experience using techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation. However, her number one goal is to create a safe space for her clients so that they can share openly and honestly in order to move through this difficult time. Jennifer has worked with extensively with clients struggling with communication, ADHD, anxiety, depression, as well as other issues that hinder people from reaching their goals as individuals and as a couple. Her clients describe her as a “straight shooter” because she isn’t afraid to talk about difficult topics, but she does so with kindness and compassion.
When she isn’t in her office, Jennifer can often be found sitting on her back deck with her pit bull, Chula, working on a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, or spending time with her husband and two teenage boys.
