Stephanie Cooke is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who works with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward healing and growth. She has a particular interest in helping couples experiencing emotional disconnection, recurring conflict, and difficulties with communication rebuild trust, closeness, and emotional connection. She also enjoys working with individuals across different stages of life, helping them process difficult experiences, navigate transitions, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
Before entering the counseling profession, Stephanie spent much of her career in banking, where she developed a passion for working with people and building relationships. Over time, she felt called to serve others in a different capacity, supporting people through life’s challenges and walking alongside them in their journeys toward healing and personal growth.
Stephanie earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Her therapeutic approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based perspectives, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She continues to develop her skills in EFT, with a growing interest in helping couples understand their emotional needs, recognize negative interaction patterns, and strengthen their connection.
Stephanie values building genuine therapeutic relationships and creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. She believes every client deserves a seat of honor in their therapeutic journey and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they discover new insights, work through challenges, and make meaningful changes.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, attending church, and exploring her creative interests in arts, crafts, and interior design.
