Still feeling a little overwhelmed? Are you worried about how to balance your personal and professional responsibilities?
You’re not alone.
In our daily work as counselors, there is a consistent conversation around the struggle of finding balance in our lives.
There is hope.
We have the power to overcome these anxious feelings by implementing these few tips into our daily lives:
- Set fluid boundaries: Scheduling set times for family activities separate from work obligations can be helpful.
- Eliminate unnecessary background noises from technology: It’s a good practice to step away from electronic devices to avoid notifications that cause fear or worry.
- Creating intentional time for daily affirmations: This could look like “Today, I am grateful for…”, to help you build a hopeful space.
Finally, surround yourself with people who are committed to helping you find and maintain calm even when things feel unbalanced in your everyday life. Just imagine, how great it could be if we did this for each other!
